Fayth and Mara have been BFFs since second grade.

They had always been inseparable until middle school kicked Fayth in the stomach with reality. Mara left her. No, she didn’t move, it was worse than that, she moved on. And since it had only been the two of them, Fayth was left with nobody. 

While Fayth is being bombarded with homework and finding out ways to tell her newest crush that she likes him, one of the popular girls invites Fayth to her bat mitzvah. The whole grade is invited but it's still special and exciting, right?
