Joy did survive the accident.
She a complete recovery in a matter of weeks, and she said it was because I waited for her.
Well, now it's been 8 years. I have passed my GCSE's and A-Levels, and am now a rather successful businessman.598Please respect copyright.PENANA9xjSM75zYA
Joy and I are married.
Vicky is engaged. Apparently she broke up with Steve, and went for a 'hotter' boy, Mike, but then 'ditched' him for being unfaithful and 'double-dating' with another girl, and she resumed dating Steve again.
So now that they're old enough to get married she's decided that she a wants to live with him. He seems pretty happy about it, and I'm completely fine as well.
It's good that Vicky now has a responsible man to look after her.
When I look back I feel lucky.
I got a good, faithful, loving wife.
Someone I would never have met if I had never bumped into that lamp post.
So it was a good thing, really, that I did.
And even now, sometimes we go to that very lamp post now, late in the wintry cold night, with the first flakes of snow drifting from the sky.
When we're alone, we kiss underneath.
And it's just me, Joy and the lamp post.
