I want to talk to everyone about something that has been weighing on me, on matters of social practices, the social sciences, order, freedom and morality. Here's the thing: I hate the social scene. I hate it, right. Can't stand it. Here is why:

We have been taught in this current era such concepts as optimism and pessimism, being introverted or extroverted, being socially outgoing or anti-social, and other such concepts. But do you know what? It could be certain that social life was a lot less complicated than before if these terms were introduced into our psyche. Since when did it make sense to asses someone by the heels of their shoes, or how many personal containing compartments that person has handy, or whether or not that person declines your offer of putting his/her coat on the coat rack? Well...apparently... It does, because it's science...social science, as it were. (which is some complete nonsense that we've all been fooled to believe, if you ask me.)

So, I've been watching these videos recently, ones with this behavior analysis expert-as she is called- educating her audience on social behavior and the social sciences, even going as far as deciphering people's body movements and putting communicative tags on their behavior. Now I am not attacking the social sciences all together, right. Surely, there is credibility to some social studies. But wait a minute. When you base someone's attitude, personality, confidence, opinions or whatever on every little, nuanced choice, action or movement which that person makes, well than you are going too far. I would think, anyways.

Despite my disagreements with the social sciences, right, modern society is built on them. We have been taught to have certain social skills, right, such nuanced behavioral and speech formulas in which to use in almost any social situation. Are you a loser and want a friend? Better start practicing how you carry and present yourself, than. Pick up a common hobby, like playing the guitar, football or video gaming, even if you are not actually interested in them. Are you lonely? No, no, no, no. Are you feeling that the only way to fulfill your life is to find a mate and that you are feeling down that you don't have one? Than you better be careful how you carry and present yourself. You need to show that you are honest with yourself by behaving like a douche bag after sex (because that is what we all are really after, right?). Manipulative tactics are also an option Are you in a failing marriage or do you suspect that your marriage is failing? Well, you have two options: (1) Get a divorce because he or she isn't right for you after all, or (2) Seek counseling and improve on how you and your spouse behave and present yourselves around each other. Are you a bum and need to get a job? Well, you better suit up, tie up, "Attennnn-shun!" and think and act in such a way that employers will approve of you.

It's rather disgusting to me that our thoughts, our behaviors, our opinions, attitudes and personalities have been invaded by these nuanced social practices and observations, that we have been taught
to judge other people and ourselves wrongly of even the smallest of vocal or behavioral signs. These social formulas have turned people into mechanical drones who feign any true, authentic personality, attitude, opinions, behaviors and the like in order to survive in this modern world. And do you know what? This is a drone's world, not a human being's world. The vaguely aforementioned social practices are a necessity for survival.

I don't hate people who smile through there teeth at me. I don't hate them because I know that that is what they have been taught to do in order to survive. Because in order sustain ourselves with sustenance, in order to make the money used to earn that sustenance, we must co-exist with other people, other people who are forced to follow the same superficial rules as we are have to follow. It's no different than growing violent after have being raised in the slums or having had spent most of your life in prison. It's no different than school ground bullies who targeted other kids or a rotten manager mistreated his/her employees. It's all about survival and nothing else. I pity every person who thinks they have to smile through their teeth at me.

That aside, I have no room to talk, right. Like I may have refused to pick up these social practices (which up until recently I have been considering because of my desperate situation), I have still had to betray parts of myself, in order to get by. I can tell you now, that as hard as I have tired to retain myself as an individual, I am not the same person I was before. I am part machine, just as others are. I've had to let go of pride and individuality on occasions in order to survive or advance in life. Even than, push comes to shove and I am back where I started, which says something about the results of being socially aggressive, assertive, territorial or predatory. My point is I have had to develop do things that I thought below me.

What good is morality or honesty- and I mean what it truly means to be honest- when it these things get in the way to our own survival? Don't even tell me that you never had to betray your morale's or that you are true to yourself. You know that to be false. Because in the end, we are all smiling through our teeth to each other, showing "positive attitudes" and having politically correct opinions or socially acceptable interests. We are all drones who only cares about surviving and making some sort of mark before we die.

I suppose what I am trying to say is that because certain ways of life have become a necessity to survival, we must constantly compromise ourselves as human beings, becoming drones and liars in order to keep ourselves on our feet. As long as survival stand front and center, morality and genuine, humble individuality stands no chance.871Please respect copyright.PENANAQhvaE3QlvJ
