The darkened ally and the dimmed lights, a shadow of a man in the way of the moon light. All seemed a blur but Caleb was telling the truth about leaving me, for good. I was collapsed onto the cold pavement just looking up at him, my body was shivering all over thinking about what would happen without him. My hands covered my tearing eyes, my mouth was quivering as if I was going to say something to stop him. My hair was in a messy bun, like always, he loved it this way. It made him smile, he looked at me and caressed my cheeks with his hands. I leaned forward expecting him to kiss my lips but I only felt his cold breath on my face. I blinked in confusion as he moved away from me, he wasn't saying a thing, how can I tell that he's going to be okay without me. I shake my head and slowly stand up, still shaking with my jacket over my shoulders. My gaze looked down to the ground and then back up at him, he folded his hands and tried to smile for me. He looked at his watch as he bit his bottom lip, he didn't look happy. I knew he was about to wave goodbye to me, I couldn't let him do that, I needed to hear his calming voice.
" P-promise me something, okay? " I mutter
" and what is that " he whispered into my ears, he made me excited again
" promise we will see each other again, and I don't care if you forget about me. I'll be there to help you " I explained, stuttering as I spoke

I held onto his hands, he smiled and walked away. His smile was the only thing that made me happy in that moment. I collapsed to the ground once more and began to cry in my hands, I don't think I can bare being away from him for so long. My heart hurts so much it feels like its going to explode, and my tears won't stop falling down my cheeks. I can't do this anymore.
