Outline. Outline! What’s an outline to you? To you! Not your teacher to you. What comes to mind? Simple? Complex? Hate? Support? Do you like the, quote in quote, “formal” way?
They call in simple.
We see it as complex.
Sentence by Sentence. They say. It’s simple! They say!
We see a rough draft. Not an outline. It’s complex! An outline isn’t complex! We complain.
Their response?
Only more complex things that make no sense to world but them. Do they care? Maybe. Will they change for the best of the class? Probably not.
All we want is the old way back.
They’re just going along with the new, hated way. That makes no sense to anyone.
Go outside the classroom. You’ll only find more complainers. Parents, of ours, even complain. Friends and families complain. And what happens?
No action whatsoever.
So, what does that make us think?
That they just change whatever they want without any permission or option from us? We’re the ones that know what we find is easier and faster and simplest to us and everyone. So, why?
I don’t know.
Ask the teachers. They don’t know.
Parents. I don’t know.
No one knows.
Only the ones that did this knows.
Controlling us like we have no power whatsoever.
