This will be the first story idea to be shared in this book and it was made by me I already have a good idea of the story and characters, so really all there is left to do is write it. Give me your opinions on this story.
Most great stories have a good "what if" question so I'll give you mine. What if mushrooms were alive and had to be careful of what they ate because a lot of their foods can be poisonous.
Did that catch your attention? Let me tell a little about the story. It starts of with these two mushroom boys. They are young kids just living normal lives. There is also another character, a petty criminal. Both want something. The kids want to live happily with their families. The criminal wants to get his brother out of prison. However, something drastic quickly gets in the way of our character's goals. A zombie apocalypse. A patient at a hospital seemingly goes crazy and bites multiple nurses and a doctor. Then the doctor and nurses go crazy. By the end of the day the hospital is overrun by monsters. These monsters escape and that's when our character's lives change.
In the midst of this rapidly spreading disease some members of the town's small community have survived and help each other in their battle to live. This small group of people begin traveling away from the town, towards another larger city which has not been affected by the disease yet.The boys and criminal find themselves with the group of survivors. The boys are relieved to be with their families and acquaintances, but the criminal feels more pressure than ever to break his brother out of prison. His reckless decisions could cost the group everything. Does the criminal possess any morals? Will he continue putting his brother ahead of everything and everyone else? What will the young boys do to survive in this apocalypse? You might be surprised at the cleverness and resourcefulness of these two boys.
