Amateur Investigative journalist Joanna Cortez has finally gotten her big story- only it involves a complete, detailed recount of a traumatic childhood incident, which ended up with five people dead. 

Anxious to prove herself to her boss, her story leads Jo to her hometown of Lennon, Massachusetts, where she isn't exactly welcomed with open arms.
