Eli was sitting in her room, while her guests were having fun at her birthday party. She would have joined them, but she didn't have a good pair of shoes to wear. And what good was going to a party if you didn't have a pair of shoes to wear? Eli sighed. She would just have to wait until next year. Suddenly she saw a shimmering in the air. A plump, yet beautiful, woman appeared out of nowhere. She waved her wand and a pair of cute shoes appeared on Eli's feet. Then, without a single word, she disappeared. Eli was overjoyed. Not only did she now have a pair of shoes to wear to her party, but she had finally met her fairy godmother! She raced down the hall to join her friends and tell them about the experience over a huge bowl of popcorn.
