Hello dear friend!
I have no idea how to write a letter and am crazy to write this, so here it is!
I hope you remember me, I was your favorite and first toy bought from a toy store purchaised by your parents in Switzerland. I was and still am now the Yellow Rabbit. Stored away down in the cold, dark cellar amongst other toys in a box that your mother and you yourself wants to treasure as prescious memories. I remember vividly as if it was only yesterday how you chose me from my other comrades. There were other rabbits of the same sort with different colours: pink, yellow, turquiose, blue and orange. From the beginning as our eyes met at the very first moment, you knew and I knew that you would choose me. Very stubborn and persistent your big, glassy, grass green eyes stayed on mine until your parents reached for me from the shelf.
Although I had a name besides the pricetag, you never called me after the name. Only under the word "you" (in Swiss-German 'Du' and the same in Swedish). You called me 'You' and I called you 'You', a pleasant even level of friendliness and fairness. At first as a baby with smiles and curious eyes, then as a child speaking Swiss-German, English or at times Swedish. Holding me gently with soft hands as if I were made of glass (in Summer hot, sweaty hands and in Winter dry and cold hands). Slept many nights beside you and was always there to comfort you of nightmares, even when you mostly ran to your parents.1020Please respect copyright.PENANAaMOId2I7KV
You never introduced me to other friends which hurt at first, through time I realized I was your special toy. The word 'special' meant to you something very, very private that no one else can know, like a secret or the love you have for your parents, something presious. I appreciate that very, very much. As you started to play with dolls and Barbies you always had a role prepared for me, mostly as the fairygodmother or private and close servant of the Barbie princess. I liked those roles, always appreciated at least by one figure and never the main role which is good. I hate being the centre of attention. I always had to pull myself mighty together when the prince arrived into your play, you used your imagination and the other free hand! You never had Ken in your Barbie collection! Something I will never forget and always brightens me when I am down.
Now I am running out of words and don't know how to continue. This is my first time writting a letter. I hope you understand it and above all, remember.
Many hugs and kisses!
