On June 17, 1972, there was a break-in at the Democratic National Congress Building in Washington, DC. After the arrest of several burglars, after the scandal over the Pentagon Papers in 1971, over the Vietnam War in the 1950's, and 1960s, two young reporters, Bob Woodward, and Carl Bernstein, from the Washington Post, investigate President Richard M. Nixon, who with his Cabinet at The White House, became paranoid over leaks, a decade after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in Dallas, Texas, on November 22, 1963.
