You sluggishly make your way back home after the boring and studious life at school you've endured. You open up the door and was greeted by the one you've always wanted to see all day.
"Welcome home (Y/N)!" He greets you with a smile. You smile back, drop your school bag and run into his arms. Wrapping your arms around him, you let out a sigh of happiness and inhale a huge amount of his natural scent.
He wraps you in his arms and holds you tight. "Must've been a very tiring day, huh?" You nod your head in agreement. "Come let's go take this to the sofa." He says. You nod your head again and jump onto him. He catches you and carries you to the living room sofa.
While you were being carried, you bring your nose close to his neck and try to forget about today and enjoy his presence. "H-hey, that tickles." You tighten your hold on him and begin to breath in deeply.
He sits down in the sofa and you straddle his lap with your legs, not wanting to move your position. He hugs you tight and you can feel the warmth from his body transfer over to you.
The warmth melts away the stress of today and you sigh contentedly with a smile. "It seems like my hugs are doing their job quite well." You nod your head in agreement and tighten your embrace on him.
"You really needed this huh?"
You shake your head. "Hm? This isn't what you needed?"
(Y/N): "..."
"Oh... You needed me. ...Same difference."
You pull away from his embrace and pout. "What? Aren't they the same?" You shake your head. Yes, a hug was needed, but you wouldn't accept anyone else's hugs except for his. That's why you needed him. It was because those were the only hugs you wanted to feel. The arms that you wanted to hold you. His arms. His presence. You needed his very presence to help you wash away your stressful day.
A few silent moments have passed and you go back embracing him. He embraces you and says, "This should be enough for now. What do you want to do? I cooked food for you so you can eat. Or do you want to study for a bit?"
You think about it, but he didn't even offer you the greatest option of all time!
You pull back and instead of choosing his options, you make up a third option and acted right away.
You bring your hands around his neck and then kiss him. He pulls back and leans his forehead against yours. "You're cheating again." He laughs and smiles and you take that moment to kiss him again. "Come on, when will you stop cheating~?" This time he kisses you and makes it a long kiss. You take the kiss head on and hold it. He pulls back and says, "Come on, we can do this later tonight alright? I promise." He says he promises you but you narrow your eyes with a grin on your lips.
He leans and kisses you again. He pulls his lips back and leans on your forehead and says, "I promise to you with that kiss? What do you think?"
You smile while the warmth in your chest bubbles. You nod your head and steal another kiss from him.
After cuddling for a bit, you decide to eat what he made for you. It wasn't special or anything but just a regular meal anyone can make in a couple of minutes.
"Was it good?" He asks you while you were drinking a glass of water. You nod your head and finish the glass. "I'm glad you liked it." He takes your plate and heads over to the kitchen sink to wash your dishes.
You stare at him and couldn't think of anything or anyone that can replace him. You smile while reminding yourself of all the troubles you've been through and who was there for you.
You stand up and walk towards him. You hug him from behind and bury your face into his back. "H-hey... Just wait a bit longer. I'm almost done."
You nod your head but refuse to let go of him. You hear him sigh and he hurries to finish up. He turns around while being on your arm and hugs you. He pats the top of your head and asks, "What does my baby girl want to do next?"
(Y/N): "..."
"Of course you'll choose that next." You look up and pout.
(Y/N): "..."
"No, it's not a bad thing to go for. I actually want to do that too right now." You smile and jump onto him without warning. "Whoa! Next time, warn me. Geez..." You smile and tell him to get going.
He carries you upstairs and into the bedroom. He walks over to the bed and lays down. You lay down in top of him and enjoy him all to yourself. "Napping does seem like the right choice huh?" You nod your head.
He wraps a blanket around the both of you and then his arms around your tired body. You let another contented sigh of happiness and enjoy the warmth that was spreading to your entire body.
You begin to feel sleepy but then remember one thing that he promised to do.
(Y/N): "..."
"Yes?"
You escape his arms and sit on top of him. You look for the blanket that fell of your back. You take it and then bring the blanket over, covering both of you from head to toe.
Under the blanket, you keep your face close to his and smile.
(Y/N): "..."
"Ahah... Looks like I'm yours."
He smiles back.
You lean and kiss him and he welcomes your lips. You close your eyes and focus on the moment both of you are sharing.
After kissing for awhile, you lay your head on his shoulder and fall asleep. He rubs your back slowly and steadily. It was calming and you readjust yourself to be even more comfortable.
With the rubbing and heart-warming moment, you fall asleep. "Sweet dreams (Y/N)."
You nod in a sleepy manner, sigh, and sleep.
