Chapter Ten
Thomas Gray, the Phi Kappa Kappa President, was with Hilary James, the Delta Delta Delta sorority house President, who was his girlfriend. She gazed at the group of teenagers; she spoke clearly.
'Today is Bid Day. All rushes are to be part of the chapters across New York, and other cities. For each generation of girls, a sorority, and fraternity house, is a place for all people who want to belong for the next four years of their school, and college, life. It is a symbol of what we are, as a group. Today is the beginning of your future; your future that is with us at Delta Delta Delta'.
And we all cheered.
