I wanted to enter a contest, but I didn't see one that I would be interested in. This prompt actually comes from my third grade teacher. I couldn't finish the story that spiraled from five words in the fifteen minutes of writing time unfortunately. Granted, it wasn't even the best story telling, but what do you expect? I was in 3rd grade. Anyways, here it is:

     I opened the box and was amazed at what I saw...

     I know, simple. Make something amazing from it. Writers got imagination! Use it! have fun, and go nuts. You can alter the prompt slightly from first person to third or something like that. If you end up taking my prompt and want to continue the chapter into a full length story on your own page, go for it! Let me know so I can read it. Nobody is going to stop you.
