What would you do if the world came to an end? If the smell of ash and blood filled the air, and everyone and everything was slowly disappearing? The world is sure to end eventually. It could be caused by one person or by a massive wave of destruction. Most likely there isn’t anything anyone could do to avoid it, sometimes it feels like the end has already begun. War, terrorism, a failing ecosystem and murder, each passing day makes our world seem like a horrible place full of pain and devastation. However, no matter how corrupt a place may be, there will always be those who rise from the ashes to bring hope and save the world from its inevitable destruction.
Before the tale unfolds, let’s start from the beginning. It all started in a small country called Le Alba. Otherwise known as the land of Twilight, Le Alba was known for its beauty, tranquillity and dazzling purple skies. Within Le alba was six states, each one with their own independence and characteristics. Liwana of the guiding light, Tierra of strength, Florica of natural beauty, Mizu of calming waters, Aria of blissful winds, and Luminea, where the sun and stars bring hope. This was the realm of the Oviri. Shadow Warriors who could control the organic matter around them known as Ikiru energy, the energy of life and Kohai the energy of destruction and death, known to the rest of the world as magic. Oviri were once known as ‘perfect humans’ for being the closest image to the gods. Back in those days Oviri lived with humans throughout the entire world and were treated as a gift, a beacon of hope when things became dark. However, as the years passed humans began to fear them, creating the myth of witches and warlocks and persecuted the Oviri until they were forced to conceal themselves within the boundaries of Le Alba and hid their country away from the rest of the world. It took many years, but with the few humans who lived in the small nation, the six states were able to live in perfect harmony under the guidance of the Oviri royal family, the Haiva Nobility.
Unfortunately, like all good things, peace came to an end when a man named the Dark Shadow became selfish and tried to take over the entire world. The blood he spilt caused all mythical beings to despise Oviri. As the Haiva Nobility fell, a new government emerged. The Control of Shadows Oppression Government decided that the best way to return peace to their nation was to destroy all Oviri. To save their people from their subjugation, a group of young Oviri formed the Magical Liberation Council. It was a long and difficult struggle, but just when things looked like they were improving a Dark Oviri named, Darkyn decided that no one deserved to live in Le Alba and decided to destroy it. He created a three-way war that lasted for eighty years. Le Alba was left in the wake of destruction causing thousands of lives to be lost.
In the aftermath, a depression of old war warriors and occultists who enjoyed the conflict of war caused disaster across the land. To save the people from that fate, the MLC created guilds. Filled with Oviri as talented musical performers and fighters, theses guilds travelled across Le Alba, singing for the people to lift their spirits and fighting back the darkness.
However, the world stagnated and slowly returned to the world we know today, Despite being at a time of peace, disaster and corruption lurk in every corner. People claimed that they have moved forward and have evolved to be more accepting, but they hold onto their foolish and ancient ideals and despise anyone who doesn’t agree with them. If it was to survive, the world filled with prejudice had to change, and that change was about to occur. It happened when two people met, one late Autumn day in Luminea.
