HARRY
Harry couldn't help the smile that was growing on his face as he watched Draco walk away, he couldn't believe they had a civil conversation and Draco didn't insult him or look disgusted, weird enough he was sort of shy and it was adorable, Harry couldn't help but smile at the way Draco was avoiding eye contact, harry sighed wondering just how he was going to tell his friends that he wanted to be friends with Draco Malfoy and his friends, he had a feeling that Hermione was going to understand but Ron was going to need a lot of convincing, "harry, wait up!" Hermione called from behind Harry who was deep in thoughts and didn't seem to hear her, " HARRY! " Ron shouted snapping harry out of his thoughts which were mostly about a certain platinum blond with silver eyes, he turned around and almost collided with Hermione who just gave him a look that seemed to say "why aren't you in class right now?", before she could ask the question out loud harry said " headmistress McGonagall changed my schedule, so now I have a free period after every class" which wasn't a lie, he did have a free period after very class except this wasn't a free period he was supposed to be in a class like 3 minutes ago, but he got distracted with Draco and now his friends were distracting him, Hermione nodded while Ron looked at harry suspiciously with a smirk plastered on his face "what?" harry asked getting annoyed by his friend's behavior " what are you so happy for?" Ron asked with a smirk on his face, Harry sent him a challenging look and said "I don't know what you're talking about" Ron rolled his eyes and smiled, "shouldn't you two be getting two be going to class" harry replied sassily with a small smirk when Hermione's face filled with dread and she looked positively frightened, while ron, on the other hand, he didn't really care about school, he wanted to know why his best friend was so suddenly happy for some reason, "we should talk, as soon as may be before or after dinner tonight." harry called out before his friends could disperse, Hermione nodded and ron gave him a thumbs up and with that harry when to class trying to figure out just how he was going to break it to his friends that he wanted to be friends with Draco.
As he reached his classroom he saw Draco walking with his hand on the wall and he was clutching his stomach as if he was in pain, harry rushed to his side and placed a hand on his shoulder, " are you alright?" harry asked his voice filled with worry, he wanted to know what happened to him but he didn't want to upset draco, "I'm fine, you don't have to pretend to care about me" draco replied coldly has he pushed out of harry's reach and continued to walk to his destination leaving harry dumfounded and slightly angered, but he wasn't mad at draco, he was mad at whoever or whatever caused draco pain, harry quickly regained his wits and caught up to draco, " I'm not pretending to care about you" harry said walking besides him, draco stopped and sighed as if looking for the right words to say, a few seconds passed and draco spoke in a voice so soft that if harry wasn't paying attention he wouldn't have heard him, draco said "then what do you want from me?", harry sighed and looked at draco who was looking at him with sad doe eyes and at that moment harry knew what he wanted from draco but he couldn't bring himself say it, so he said, " I just want your friendship" harry answered looking at draco who in turned let out a bitter laugh, then stopped when he realized harry was Sirius and he raised his eyebrows asking a silent question but he faced away from harry and kept walking, after a few silent minutes draco said " I remember making the same offer a few years ago but it was coldly declined" harry inhaled sharply feeling a tight feeling in his chest but he didn't say anything and draco continued to speak " I of course was devasted by that" he said catching harry by surprise, " Y-you were?" harry asked stuttering over his words, " surprising, I know" draco answered with a small smile that vanished as soon as it came then he asked " why did you stay?", harry looked at him and open his to reply but draco continued before harry had the chance to collect his thoughts, " why didn't you laugh and mock me?" now harry was growing even more worried because draco was shaking and his magic was rolling off of him in waves that almost knocked harry over, harry has never seen anyone with magic this strong expect for himself and snape of course, but this was different, this magic wave wasn't of anger or love, if a magic wave of anger hit you it would have only one goal, to hurt or kill, but whatever draco's magic wave was it wasn't anger or love, it was a mixture of self-pity and hurt and confusion, and this only severed to worry harry even farther but when he opened his mouth say something draco added " why didn't you push me off the tower?, why didn't you add another? , why didn't you hurt me like all your adoring fans have, like all the Gryffindors have done, like most Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs and a quarter of Slytherin have done?" harry was dumfounded, he didn't know that his friends and the other houses were abusing draco, and he certainly didn't think that people would actually physically hurt him, harry was hurt that draco thought he would hurt him, after a few seconds of silence draco's magic seemed to have calmed down but there was still tension between them and his magic was still in the air, still restless, as draco started walking towards the infirmary, harry was deep in thought he didn't know what to do or how to make draco feel better but he kept walking with him, the silence was getting awkward and suffocating, harry sighed and then he placed a hand on draco's shoulder, and draco's body stilled and his magic went rigid and it was now circling harry as if he was a threat to draco, but harry didn't move away, he didn't waver, he stood his ground and inhaled before speaking. 159Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡ7gGgd8PUiZ
"I know you have absolutely no reason to trust me, or let me in, but I do mean it when I say that I won't let you be hurt again, and I'll do anything I can to prove to you that I want to get to know you, Draco, that is if by some miracle you'll give me a chance?" harry asked looking hopefully at draco whose eyes looked as if they were filled with tears but instead of crying draco closed his eyes exhaled out slowly and then opened them again and said in a small barely audible voice "alright, I'll believe you..." he paused for a second before continuing " and am sorry for lashing out" draco finished and waited for harry to speak, harry had a big smile on his face he felt happy that he was able to get through draco, "you don't have to apologize for saying what you feel, but thanks for giving me a chance" harry said with a smile, draco however did not return it, he nodded and opened the doors to madam pomfrey's who looked up at them as soon as she heard the door open, she rushed to draco's side at once " what is it this time dear ,please tell me it's not as bad as the last" she asked worriedly, draco gave her a small smile and said " am not sure what or who caused it this time, I woke up with a splitting head ache and my teeth hurts, and now my back and stomach are killing me" with a chuckle at the end, madam pomfrey shook her head at him and said with a worried expression " this is not a laughing matter, lay down and I'll take a look at you, alright?" she said earning a nod from draco who looked at harry with a confused expression, " shouldn't you be in class harry?" he asked completely unaware of madam pomfrey's presence, harry looked at Draco with a bright smile on his face, " what?" draco asked with a chuckle " you've never called me 'harry' before" harry finished as draco blushed furiously and looked away from harry " don't get used to it scared" he said earning a chuckle from harry " but yes I do have to go to class" harry answered "then go, I don't want to be the reason you're late" draco retorted with a determined look in his eyes which left no room for argument as harry sighed and started walking towards the door of the infirmary, he turned back and asked "are we still having lunch together at the black lake?" draco nodded and harry walked away unaware that madam pomfrey was listening to their conversation the whole time.159Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡ6CpxrK7P1O
she had a knowing smile on her face as she approached Draco who was now suddenly aware of her presence and his blush deepened as he saw the knowing look on her face, "what?" he asked looking away from her, madam Pomfrey on the other hand only chuckled, deepening the blush on Draco's face, " do you have the results" Draco asked as a way of distracting her from what just happened and to his relief she took the bait " yes dear I do but, I wanted to ask if you had creature blood in your family" as soon as those words left her lips Draco knew exactly what happened to him last night, he opened his mouth to speak but madam Pomfrey beat him to it "if you do, am afraid you're currently having your inheritance".
