When his friends saw him in the canteen with an unknown girl. His friends asked him "Who is she?". Mark became speechless when his friends came over unexpectedly. He said that "She is my friend from my fencing academy before she used to come but now she stopped". When Theresa heard this she couldn't believe it because she has never done fencing in her whole life. He couldn't give any other excuse because they were his friends from a young age and all of them studied in the same school and the only excuse he could give was fencing. So Mark introduced Theresa to his friends. They accepted her gladly but Gemma wasn't happy with her because this is the first time Mark is spending time with a girl after her. Gemma had a crush on him for a long time but she couldn't confess her love to him because he has never been in love. She feared once she confesses her love towards him, her friendship with him can break. So she keenly kept looking at Theresa and noticed that she was literally out of fashion. She asked her "Why does your dress look weird?". Theresa didn't know what to answer but when she was going to speak, Mark said that she actually studies in Film major and today she had a play so for that she dressed like this. Theresa was like "Woah... He is so good at making stories which aren't even real". So he asked his friends to give them some time alone because he wanted to discuss some things with Theresa. They were like "Okay, we will leave". But Gemma felt something was suspicious that she literally didn't want to leave still she left because Mark told her to. Then Mark asked Theresa "Where did you come from? I am asking because you don't look like you are from here and I am literally curious to know".
