I wake up fully rested but still a little freaked out about what happened yesterday. Yeah I seemed calm when I got home but inside my head, I was freaking out. He fucking killed my ex boyfriend last night and acted so nonchalant about it. I get up to turn on the news and surprisingly I didn't hear anyone talk about him, it's like he was erased from this world completely without a trace of him anywhere.

I toss my phone across my bed, take a deep breath and go take a long warm shower. I really need one after that conversation. I step into my shower and think about how everything went down yesterday and about the trip to Europe. I'm not friends with anyone in the office so that is a big no. I should get rid of that one, or break it since my ex best friend gave that to me a few years ago for my 19th birthday. But I will let him use it just this once.

I go grab a bottle of wine from my small wine stack and open it up. I'd rather drink wine in a mug instead of one of those fancy wine glasses. That is just who I am. I pour a glass into his mug and then into mine. I put it onto the counter and then grab a couple of pills to take for my wrist and my neck. They still hurt from last night. I swallow them and then take a swig from my mug.

He sets it aside and then stands back up. I stand back up and we both exit the bathroom.
