BANG!
"An explosion."
Yes, there has been many explosions as of late. Of course, that's what you get when you live in a middle of a war zone. Who's fighting? Why? Does that matter. War never changes, no matter what people are dying and that's just terrible. What's the point of killing other humans if we ourselves are human? Isn't that the equivalent of killing ourselves? Sure we can say that they're bad guys, and being good guys we must kill them. But the bad guy says that we're the bad guys and they're the good guys. But aren't both sides bad for killing other people?
Normally, if someone kills someone, they get put in prison for the rest of their life. Sometimes they get the death penalty. You could say that we're fighting for our friends that are killed and that we're giving the death penalty to the bad guys. But isn't the death penalty dumb in the first place? I mean, it's not like killing people who have killed brings the dead person back to life, and by killing people who kill, doesn't that make use hypocritics?
All I know for sure is that my mother died fighting in this war for some sort of pointless reason. But yet, I am not angry, as I know that someone like me on the other side also lost a mom, probably in the same battle, and that she, too, is suffering like I am. I don't like it. The pain I feel is so much, but it hurts me more to know that others are feeling the same pain I am.
At the end of the day in war, they are no winners or losers. No matter what the final outcome is, it is a draw as both sides have suffered. Sure one may have suffered more, but they both still suffered. There's another explosion. Right now I am scared. A Note From Your Author: Suddenly, I decided I needed to write a story about explosions. Somehow it turned into an anti-war story. Ah well. I write too much depressing stuff here, so I'm planning on starting another short story collection that will parody fairy tales! Sure it's not the most original idea, but I have an itch to write a story about the third pig killing the wolf with a machine gun. Look out for that, coming soon!
