While everyone was disoriented and talking very loudly, I began to survey the damage. The bus driver was out cold. The pacing teacher had been thrown to the other side of the bus. I then looked at the back of the bus. The kids seemed fine, just scared and disoriented. The other bus looked much worse off than ours. I saw no signs of life coming from them.
