After a long walk they finally made it to the front of the broken down building. It looked like it could fall any second, with rusted pipes and vines growing up the sides. The door was missing a hinge and creaked open every time there was a gust of air. The windows were boarded up and the small staircase in the front was crumbling.
“Cool..” whispered Ky
Liam smacked the back of her head
“Ow! What was that for?!” she yelled
“Don’t let your mind wander too much, you're paying for our hospital bills, remember.” Liam smirked
Ky scowled at him and Liam just shrugged, walking forward to join the others
“So, um, we just..walk in?” said Rudy” with a small shake in his voice
“I guess so..” said Alex, who was the first to step in
The inside of the building was huge, there were desks in every corner with chairs scattered all around. It looked like some old factory.
“Ok fine, this is kinda cool.” said Liam, walking around
“Hump.” replied Ky, crossing her arms while she walked
“Yo guys! Over here!” yelled Rudy, his voice echoed in the open room
“What you find?” said Ky
“It looks like an old office, maybe the boss's room?” said Rudy
“Let’s go see if they left anything.” said Alex, opening the molded door
Inside was a big desk that had been knocked over, and a swivel chair that had seen better days. There were also two huge bookshelves with tons of thick books covered in cobwebs.
“Woahhh!” said Liam, turning slowly to take in everything
“I told yall it would be cool.” said Ky with a big smile on her face
They looked all around the room, in the drawers, through the books, and even behind the bookshelves.
“Nothing to creepy, if you don’t count the bugs.” said Liam, with a grossed out face
“You and your bugs..” replied Alex, clearly mocking him
“Shut up.” said Liam staring Alex in the eyes
“Make me.” Alex smirked
“Ok ok love birds, get a room first, please.” said Ky
“uh-” said Liam, walking away with a slight blush
“Really..” said Alex, who also had a visible blush across his face
“Guys I found something again!!!” yelled Rudy
“Lucky bastard!” yelled Ky, running over
