After coming to terms with what they had done, Alice and F.P. decided to make a pact to at least stay friends before going their separate ways. Much like the Midnight Club had disbanded in fear of being caught, the couple knew being in cahoots with one another could bring their nefarious deeds to light. They broke their vow to the Dark Lord and officially left the Church of Shadows. Alice changed her persona, a complete 180. She abandoned her Southside roots, including the serpents, and ran to the Northside into the arms of Hal Cooper. F.P. stayed on the Southside where he met Gladys. He claimed his rightful title as Serpent King, following in the footsteps of his father, and became the gang leader many would later fear.
They both left their old lives behind and cultivated new ones. Out of these separate unions came new families and more children. Alice and Hal had Polly Serafine and Elizabeth Ariadne. F.P. and Gladys had Jughead and Jellybean.
To keep the children and their spouses in the dark about their past and their affinity for magic, Alice and F.P. bound their children's powers. In hopes that it would be permanent, after the initial spell was cast at birth, they brewed potions to be given at certain times in their children's lives. Once at five years old, once at ten, and lastly at fifteen.
However, two children born from these unions will come to find out all on their own that life isn't as black and white as it seems. For nearly a year after their sixteenth birthdays have long since passed, their powers would burst forth on a romantic getaway to Greendale.
