Have you ever wondered what a person from 100 years ago would think about the average American family today?
What would they think? We look down too often. Families may gather together, but not be together. Parents might be on phones, too busy for reality. Children would be spending time with their babysitter; the TV. As time flies faster and faster, you will want to have some days when its just you and your family. No distractions whatsoever. But you find it harder and harder to make them let the phone go for an hour or so. The worst part, you've set up a game night and maybe some snacks with it. You call them but they never answer. They might grunt but never a real answer. You run downstairs only to find them staring on their screens like a mindless zombie. You call them again and this time they reply with a 'no, join us instead'. But you refuse to. Everything's ready.
Life is too precious to throw away on phones. You should spend it with your loved ones. Take a walk through the park with your dog. Bake something with mom or build stuff with dad. So that means you. Right now. You shouldn't still be looking at this.
I need to go to my family too. Maybe once they get off their screens, we can play like we used too...
