It had been only a few months since the Honorary Knight conquered the frightening dragon, Stormterror. Life quickly went back to normal, the Traveler and Paimon fitting into Mondstadt's friendly way of things. After things settled down, we started hanging missing posters all around Mondstadt. One month into Lumine's life in Mondstadt, she seemed to warm up to us, and everyone else in the town, although I knew from the first time I saw her that she would be a light everyone acknowledged as beautifully fearless. 1832Please respect copyright.PENANAc7xh20xotT
The Traveler has since been making a daily schedule for herself every day, making friends with most of the Knights of Favoius. In the mornings she helps Acting Grand Master Jean with daily requests from the commoners, not the mention Amber and Katherine with clearing out hilichurl camps and the weekly higher dangerous monster--and without a sweat. And although it is none of my business, I can not help but worry over the girl, she sometimes comes into the library where I am the Head (and only) Libraian and continues to help me shelf books, but she also sometimes grabs books from the shelves, or looks to be searching for a certain type of book.
When this happens I am always near her and ask her if she needs help looking for a kind of book, but she always replies "no" with a sad look in her eyes that shatters me to the bone. I want to help her, but she never lets anyone into her problems; it is her only flaw.

Once again, the beautiful Lumine arrives at my library a couple minutes after noon. She smiles one of her signature smiles that makes me cannot help but smile her back.
"Good afternoon Lisa, any new books?" 1832Please respect copyright.PENANAGyv2Bg4JYc
I shake my head, "Sadly, no new arrivals today. Sorry, Sweetie."1832Please respect copyright.PENANAluZ5NN1R6Q
The girl shrugs her shoulders, my smile still showing. I stare at the door where she came from.
"No Paimon today?"
She shakes her head. Normally Lumine is never seen without her closest companion Paimon--a title I wish I could claim as my own--but Paimon does not like paper and ink as a form of entertain or lisure passing like the Traveler does. She would rather stuff her face with food than be with her friend; my feelings are evident about this sensitive subject.1832Please respect copyright.PENANAZQdoME2ahi
And even all the same I am someone Lumina does not trust enough in this place, full of only books and adventures, although I am not sure if Lumine prefers adventure in the real world than in lines of words.
"What a shame, the little girl would be filled with wonder if she would come here as often as you do, Cutie."
Lumine laughed, as she shook her head, "You know Paimon prefers real life adventure than adventure books."
I frowned, why did I speak of that Paimon anyway?
Anyway, Lumine left me alone at my desk, giving me my cue to look through my favorite books--the restricted book section. These books are not for the normal citizens of Mondstadt, although Lumine could have any book and even return it late--by one day. 1832Please respect copyright.PENANAXoYkQaQMxh
They are mysterious and slightly unknown books, and I have my pick of all of them. Being the Librian I have read each and every of the normal citizen-avaiable books multiple times over, and have only gotten the ability to read through the restricted section a couple years ago, I still have a couples books left to read through fully, but the magic of reading a book still have not left me yet.
I adjust my hat as I stand up from my desk; time to go around the library and see Lumine if any of my customers need assistance.
I walk down a glamorous wide staircase as I search for Lumine. From the emptiness of the multiple small tables and chairs, she must be looking for her chosen book, or seated in a more sucleted area of the library.
The library is small enough that I find Lumine in no time at all, she is seated at a small table with only two chairs surrounding it, a small lantern on top of the table lighting up the corner section of books. My Lumine is looking at the books, scanning the spines and their sparkling titles.
"Cutie?" I call after her. She turns around, a bit surprised to see me.1832Please respect copyright.PENANAPwjhndhItx
"Oh, Lisa." Her words hold no emotion, and I cannot read her empty eyes.
"Are you looking for anything?"
"..."
It was a simple enough question, yet it seem the bring down the walls that kept Lumine from me. Time slowed down as she crashed into me, her eyes becoming glassed with tears. Instictly, I hold her, guiding her to the table.1832Please respect copyright.PENANAwxpDquaZWq
"Lisa, I cannot take it anymore..."
I still held onto her hands as they began to shake on the wooden tabletop.
"Take what Lumine, take what?"
She looked up at my face, tear streaming down her face like two magestic waterfalls; the image broke me to my core, but I had to hold onto her for my own sake.
"..."
"Sweetie?"
She seemed to try control her breathing, her tears making her hyperventilate.
"My... Brother Aether. I miss him so much and it's killing me."
She continued to weep. It took all my control to not join her in her sadness. All this time and she had been missing her beloved brother. I had known she lost him, and was looking for him, but I had no clue what level she missed him and wanted him back.1832Please respect copyright.PENANAtL2McLUsIY
"Lumine..."
She looked at me with red-tinted eyes, "Yes, Lisa?"1832Please respect copyright.PENANAqFyAhkE38k
"I want to be your comfort. I had no clue you were in so much pain, so please, let me known if you need my assistance."
She sniffed before responding, a sad smile cropping up on her face, "I'll try."
I nodded, coming closer to her for a hug.
"Thank you."
