It was a pitch black punch, as well as a black Spiral Dragon that took the form of a ball at the same time.
Boom! The attack landed on Chor Sing in a flash.
Maroon energy waves dispersed immediately when it met with the ball of dragon and both attacks vanished into thin air within no time.
Chor Huet Zhin took his seat looking all relaxed, but Chui Yim and Chor Chun Ping who sat near him clearly noticed his heavy breathing.

His face as pale as a sheet of paper, Chor Sing dropped to the ground with blood trickling down his arms. Things weren’t any better for Chor Shing Chit who gave his all for the gliphility he put to use for the first time ever since he had created it. He was taken aback by the amount of energliph this gliphility required. Chor Shing Chit guessed that as a three-chambered glipher, he could only at most use it twice before depleting his energliph.
“What… gliphility was that?” Chor Sing asked Chor Shing Chit who was standing right in front of him in a pitiful state yet looking unfazed.
“Dragon’s Cry. My newly created gliphiltiy with the heart chamber as the main chamber. This is the first time I’m using it.”
“Dragon’s Cry…” Chor Sing muttered to himself. “I’m willing to concede defeat to this attack.”
However, Chor Chong Hoi who was spectating was enraged. “This makes no sense! How can a glorious Chor Clan member learn a sound based attack? What is the difference between us and the Tse Clan if you do so!”
“I created this gliphility back in the Night Lion City after a discussion on gliphility with the Tse Clan Leader sparked an idea,” Chor Shing Chit shrugged and answered honestly.
However, his words triggered Chor Chong Hoi who raged in response. “1222Please respect copyright.PENANA0S6aqaI6mz
You’re not qualified as a member of the Chor Clan!!”
“So what if it’s a sound attributed gliphiltiy?” Chor Huet Zhin cut them off and waved his hands. “Our clan might be famous for our rods skill, but that doesn’t mean that we should limit ourselves to just that. If it’s this case, does this mean that I’m not considered a Chor Clan member since my most famous gliphility, Bloody War Strike, was created with a Hung Clan disciple?”
Silence took over the hall immediately as nobody dared to utter a sound.
Who would dare to say that Chor Huet Zhin, a notable clan leader of Chor Clan who contributed to the clan largely, was not to be considered a Chor Clan member? Rather than rod skills, he was most well-known for his Bloody War Strike instead, a gliphility that he created together with a Hung Clan disciple fifty years ago.
The Hung Clan disciple had a unique name of just the word “Zhin”. Hung Zhin was similarly a talented and prospective disciple, but sadly, he lived a short life as he lost his life to a powerful Northerner from Four Season Heaven during his sixth year at the Bloody War Frontier.
Zhin meant War, and Huet meant blood. Thus, Bloody War Strike was named after them both. This was a famous saying in the world.
“The next Clan Leader is decided.” Chor Huet Zhin declared slowly upon seeing that nobody uttered a sound. “My decisions are final, and I’ll write to the Emperor tomorrow officially as a declaration.”
Despite being a clan, many members and disciples of theirs were officials of the Lam dynasty, like how Chor Huet Zhin had been in the past. Thus the clan took on the rules of the dynasty and after writing a letter and gaining approval from the emperor, there was no turning back.
Chor Chong Hoi looked to be in an extremely bad mood, while members of other factions seemed undisturbed by the result. The Chor Clan was a simple clan. Whoever possessed the ability to lead the clan to a brighter future, they would believe in him.
In a complicated world, it was hard to find clans that were as innocent as the Chor Clan. The credits might go to the clan’s ancestor, or Chor Huet Zhin, the powerful clan leader of theirs.

This fight was not known to the world as it was an internal matter of the clan. Due to its nature, even the Lam dynasty could not do much about it.
Chor Chun Ping did not immediately send all those of his faction back after he became the clan leader, but instead, the first order from his as a clan leader was to approach the leader of another faction, Chor Hung Chi. Their plan was to head to the Southern Bulwark with him and his faction members to commence an official exchange of the position. Amongst all six factions, Chor Hung Chi was the least competitive. He preferred physical fights over mental work, thus those of his factions were combative as well.
Chor Chun Ping was a good judge of character, so he chose Chor Hung Chi to take over the guarding of Southern Bulwark. What was even shocking was that instead of sending Chor Chong Hoi away to the bulwark, he let Chor Chong Hoi take over the clan as deputy clan leader while he was away.
The trip to Southern Bulwark with Chor Hung Chi would take at least half a year, and letting Chor Chong Hoi take the position of deputy clan leader would allow Chor Chong Hoi to take many actions during his absence.
It was an extremely stupid decision to all, but Chor Chun Ping did it anyway and only said that “We’re Chor Clan members afterall” when he handed the clan to Chor Chong Hoi.
This left Chor Chong Hoi at a loss.
In fact, he had been handling the clan during Chor Huet Zhin’s sickness all these years. His decisions might not be the best, but he still put the clan in place. Chor Chong Hoi was unsatisfied with the position he ended up in as he felt that there was no reason for him to not be an actual clan leader when he had the ability to do so.
However, Chor Huet Zhin came out of his seclusion unexpectedly, and his son lost to Chor Shing Chit. Chor Chun Ping became the clan leader, and he was once again back at the same position, the deputy clan leader.
He might not have the title, but he always had the power of a clan leader.
So what was he always after?
Chor Chun Ping’s words reminded him of Chor Huet Zhin’s words. “Chong Hoi, that’s why you’re not qualified. You’re too short-sighted. The Chor Clan might be huge, but it’s nothing compared to the rest of the world. You must care about the big picture. As long as the clan continues to prosper, it doesn’t matter who becomes the clan leader.”
Only now did Chor Chong Hoi understood what Chor Huet Zhin meant. Be it Chor Huet Zhin or Chor Chun Ping, none of them wanted just the clan leader position, but the entire South or even the North, and to a brighter future with the clan.
Despite not being the clan leader, the clan leader was the only person he was under and he’d do what he was good at: strategising to help Chor Chun Ping lead the Chor Clan to a better future.
Thoughts surged in Chor Chong Hoi’s mind. They reminded him of the founder of Chor Clan, Chor Cho Shing, who was the reason behind the glorious Chor Clan being one of the most powerful clans in the South. He did not achieve that alone, but with the help of his brother, Chor Hip Shing.
Chor Hip Shing was a weak cultivator without talent and only reached the two-chambered state in his life. However, he was equipped with a careful and diligent mindset. With Chor Cho Shing taking care of external affairs and Chor Hip Shing taking care of internal affairs, their great team work made Chor Clan the great clan they were today.
Chor Chun Ping was a smart man who knew his weakness well. He knew that he wasn’t as careful as his father, while Chor Chong Hoi was not as far sighted as his father was. Thus with their teamwork, they’d be at least half of Chor Huet Zhin, and Chor Shing Chit and Chong Sing’s presence was enough to let the clan prosper for another hundred of years!
