Luka Megurine , Her story is not as tragic as those around her. Luka was born of a fairly wealthy family, and her mother was completely healthy. Luka had both her mother and her father around as a young child, but her father wasn't as involved in her life as her mother was.
Luka's Mother and her father had known each other since they were teenagers, and they had fallen in love with each other almost instantly, as if love at first sight. For luka's parents, it was the perfect romance story, those you would only find in movies. When Luka's Mother became pregnant, her father was happy at first, but then, he had financial down falls, and went to focus on work instead of his own pregnant wife.

This is Shiri, luka's mom. Shiri stood by her fathers side even though he was hardly around. To be completely realistic, it was like he wasn't even her father. When shiri went into labor, it would be hard to say that he was there for her birth. He had shown up later on that night and kissed his newborn daughter and his mothers forehead, told her it would be alright, took a single picture, and had left. But shiri knew, she knew he still loved her and her daughter deep in his heart.
Luka was given her name, meaning "songs to all around the world as scent spreads." Shiri Had no doubt luka would grow up to love music, she could see it in her eyes, just like Miku's mom did. Luka's very first word was not mamma or papa, but a single song lyric, from a song luka mom would sing her when she was little. Every night when luka was going to bed, or whenever she was Sad, Shiri would sing her a lullaby she had made especially for luka.
Luka's mother taught her how to play piano, guitar, and many other musical lessons. But, her father, when he was around, he had wanted luka to get into the business career and take over her fathers company. Luka did not want that, and neither did shiri, shiri wanted luka to follow her own path. She had no doubt that Luka would find her voice in music, and that she would want to pursue music.
Even now, Her father is still hoping to get her to pursue in business, and even now, he has never been a real fatherly figure.
