After sneaking out of her castle to enjoy the festivities, Queen Medea hears the sobs of a young child in an Alleyway and goes to check it out. She finds and adopts an abandoned child named Evan, unaware the child was the youngest prince of the Apricity Empire, who ran away. Either way, she’s not willing to give him back, claiming she adopted him due to severe child neglect. 

This, unsurprisingly… causes some problems, mainly because Evan’s original family are willing to go to war for him.
