The water wad cold around me, as I tried to find the surface.Unfortunately The waves were too high and I felt myself sink with my every effort.The last thing I saw was a calming dot of pure light. It made me want to chase it forever, to stop fighting and let go. Instead, I passed out.
The air smelled sweet, sweeter than before. And as my every move hurt,I still took in the touch of everything. Water flowed around my feet. Waves, maybe? I looked up to study their faces. "My name is Alexa." the woman with the soothing voice said. My jaw dropped slightly. She had a beautiful face and wavy brown hair. She was thin, but wore a simple aqua marine dress. She had small gold hoop earrings which brought out the gold rim in her brown eyes."And this is my husband, John." She continued. I looked at the other figure. He had wild blonde and deep blue eyes. He wore a simple tunic.(Which was very strange...)"I'm Autum." I said. We just stood there for a minute, not sure what to say or do next."Oh, and this is our daughter, Olivia." Alexa said gesturing to a girl who was sitting on a rock with a book in her lap.She looked up. I could tell she took after her mother. She had straight brown hair, blue eyes, and small silver hoop earrings. She wore a plain blue shirt, a black skirt and black leggings. She had style. During the whole time she had not said a word."Sadly, she can't talk," John said. I bowed my head in sympathy. "And this is where we live." Alexa said trying to lighten the mood.
