" What did you do to her?" I asked Bully when I woke up to see him sleep on my couch.
"I don't know. For years I watched her and I still can't figure it out sissy." He said.
"Well I don't like that she's been ignoring me." I said.
Moon was the closest thing I had to a friend in a long time. I have been paralyzed since I was 13. Since I was born I was kept in a cage, they said it was possible for me to walk but I gave up a long time ago. I never had a boyfriend its just been me and Karter. When Karter told me he found the one a few months ago I was nervous. Karter has a big hand problem but seeing him with Moon.... he was gentle like he was scared to hurt her. Almost like he loved her.
"Katie she wants to know me, I can't let that happen." He said.
"You know what I hope she never talks to you again. You found a good woman and is willing to risk it all for pride." I snapped. Soon as I did Moon walked in with a big smile on her face.
"Hey friend, I been MIA and I am truly sorry but today you are coming with me." She said.
"You don't see me?" Karter said.
"I'm trying not to. So you down?"
"Yes, please get me out this house." I said.
We drove to her center and she showed me around. I loved being around Moon this girl treated me no different when just because I was in a chair. We talked about everything together, it was crazy how close we were.
"So, your gonna be mad at me and if you don't wanna do it that's fine too. I had somebody look into your case. They said with some work we could get you walking again." When she opened the door this fine ass specimen of chocolate walked in. " I figured it might help if he's good too look at too."
"Katie, wow... your are stunning." He said. "I'm sorry that wasn't professional. I'm Kadence." He said. I couldn't say anything I just started crying she told him to give us a second.
"I'm sorry if I over stepped. If you don't wanna do this I'll send him back." She said looking at me.
"No, nobody has done something this nice for me. How can I repay you." I asked.
"Just be my friend...... and let me be the first person you go out with when he gets you walking." She said and hugged me.
