“Yes, I did. I am ashamed that I ever raised you,” replied Tigro scornfully.312Please respect copyright.PENANAc4L1D3sOZl
“And I am too. You do not belong in the Streak, or any normal Streak,” Silver sneered.
Blite felt beyond betrayed. “I hate you! I hate all of you! You’re cowards! Cowards, you are! You’re fools to think I’m weak, I’m stupid, that I don’t belong! I’m just like all of you! What do I have to do to make you see through one visible difference?!” he screamed.
Howskie and Lichest stepped forward in front of their Tiger Parents and growled at Blite. “Mother and Father tiger are right. You should get out of here right now," Lichest growled.
Blite looked incredulously at Flora, waiting for her to say something. She is the leader of the Streak! She wouldn’t throw out a cub! he thought. Flora caught him looking at her and bared her teeth.
“Blite, I have no defense moves for you. I can’t say anything more except that I sentence you into exile, Blite. You do not belong here. Go and find other different tigers if you please. And you may take this other tiger cub with you, as she is not our responsibility. Now, do you have any last words before you leave? And if you get scented on our territory, my tigers have permission to kill you, or do anything they see fit,” she snarled.
Blite stared in shock, his mind whirling. His eyes blazed with fury as he looked at Flora. “I can’t believe you. Any of you! You are fools. Bullies. You are no Streak, and me and Chara deserve more than staying with you for another heartbeat. Mark my words, you will pay for what you’ve done to me. You’ll all pay! You will face your karma. You will never see me coming! Chara, come on, let’s leave this group of stuck-up fox snouts.” Ignoring the Streaks' scornful sneers, he bounded back into the forest, Chara close behind him, and left the Streak forever.
I can't believe this happened. My own mother and father... my brothers, my Goldenclaw, my Streak... they all cast me out like the skeleton of a rotten mouse. I should have known they never, ever cared about me. Though, I will get my revenge. I will be so strong, they will regret they ever thought about exiling me. They will want me back in the Streak, to protect all of them, they would beg, but I would refuse. I will kill the Streak one day. Maybe even worse than that! I will make them miserable! I can even become the leader of my own Streak, one that tolerates differences of all kinds! It would be the best, most powerful, most sensible Streak. Not even no-furs will be able to hunt me down with their deathrays when I'm finished, he thought, his eyes narrowed.
“Chara, I will get my revenge one day, when I am bigger and stronger. I meant what I said,” he snarled back at Chara.312Please respect copyright.PENANAnxRUkqpb72
Chara bowed her head. “And I believe you, Blite. Now, what should we currently do?” she added.
“We need to find somewhere to stay for now. As much as I hate to say this, the Streak will be capable of killing us if we get caught right now. But trust me, I will eventually become so strong, not even the Great Tiger will be able to touch me!” Blite growled.
Chara dipper her head again slowly. “Yes, Blite, I'm sure you will,” she replied. “But for now, we need to find a place to stay, as you said.”
He and Chara prowled through the forest, all the way until black-sky came. They were way beyond the territory by then, but they would continue their journey at pink-sky.
“Good night, King Blite,” Chara mumbled as they found an overhang under a shady tree, perfect to sleep for black-sky.
“Night,” he murmured, then closed his eyes as sleep engulfed him.
