Chapter Two-Friday, June 13, 1979-2
'I'll be back by the afternoon', Steve said.
He knew that Alice, and Bill, would be in charge.
He drove the other Jeep to town, unaware of the horror that came their way.
Jack opened the Generator Room door.
He flicked the light on.
The engine was turned on.
'I had one back in Maine', Bill said.
And, once the power came on, they left the room.
The campers had lunch.
'Where's Annie? She was supposed to be a good cook', Marcie asked.
'She's missing', Brenda answered.
They swam in the cold lake.
Brenda saw the killer watching them from across from them.
'What do you see?', Marcie asked her.
'I don't know. Maybe someone who isn't supposed to be here', Brenda answered. They told Alice.
'We'll call Sheriff Earl Tierney', Alice said.
The afternoon dragged on and on and on.
Camp Crystal Lake was notorious for danger. It was darkness that creeped into the camper's thoughts; but the dark was hours' away. Ned flailed in the water. 'Help me! Help me!'. Jack jumped off the pier, and into the lake. He performed CPR; he didn't know it was a prank. Ned coughed up water out of his lungs. When he did survive, he kissed Brenda. She backed away, and everyone knew that the prank worked. It was half an hour later before trouble came. It was 12:30 PM, on a Friday afternoon. And Crystal Lake Police Officer, Jon Dorf, 35, arrived. 'Can we help you, Officer?', Brenda asked him. 'I'm looking for someone. Crazy Ralph. The town loon', he answered. 'There's no one that's crazy here', Ned said in his Native American uniform. 'Cut it out, Tonto', Officer Dorf yelled.
'I'm dumb as they come', Ned said.
'Is he dangerous?', Alice asked him.
'Well, when he's drunk, he gets the religious calling. And I have to arrest him. And drag his ass into a jail cell', he answered.
'He's not here', Bill said.
'Hey, nice bike', Jack said.
'What drugs are you smoking? Hash, weed...'.
'Drugs are bad, Officer', Jack lied.
Suddenly the radio mike was on.
'Officer Dorf. The Sheriff wants you back at the Police Station. Over'.
'I'll be there, Trudy. I'm at Camp Crystal Lake. Don't want to keep the Sheriff waiting. Keep your noses clean, and don't get into trouble. We won't let any kind of weirdness out here'. He grabbed his sunglasses, and rode away away....as the campers laughed.
Ned walked around the camp.
Seconds later, Alice saw a snake in cabin 3.
'Bill!', she yelled.
He grabbed a machete in his right hand.
'I'll get rid of it'.
Once he did, Jack and the others knew that snakes weren't like bears. Bill removed the animal, and it slithered into the deep woods. They ate their dinner, as news that Steve Christy wasn't there caused Alice was worried with fear.
By 5:30 PM, the shadows hovered above Camp Crystal Lake. Ned walked along the rafters. Before long, he saw a stranger in cabin 5. 'Hello. Can I help you?', he asked. The stranger didn't answer---but moved into the cabin. Ned walked inside. Then the killer's sharp blade cut his throat, and she dumped the body on the top of the bloody bunk.
And waited until Jack and Marcie arrived, leaving Brenda, Bill, and Alice, alone at the camp.
Jack and Marcie were making out on the bed.
'I got to pee', Marcie said.
She kissed her boyfriend.
Jack smoked dope on the bed.
To his surprise, drops of blood seeped on his face.
Then the knife came towards him, and he died.
Marcie turned on the restroom.
'Lizzie. You'll be the death of me', she uttered.
The cheap, green colored curtains swished open.
'Brenda, is that you?', Marcie asked her.
But she wasn't speaking.
She then heard a noise.
She screamed as the knife came towards her.
And she died.
Earlier on, Ned fired an arrow at the Archery range target.
'Ned! I don't believe you', Brenda gasped.
'You're pretty when you're scared, sweetheart'. And, as he skipped away, the afternoon was colder than normal. Sadly, it was the last time anyone saw Ned alive. He was a victim of the death curse. By mid-afternoon, several hours' before, the campers heard the pantry door open. Crazy Ralph appeared. 'I'm the Messenger of God. You're doomed if you stay here; doomed!'. 'Get out of here, man', Ned said. The old man opened the door, and got on his bicycle, '...You're all doomed!'. 'I think that was Crazy Ralph', Ned said. 278Please respect copyright.PENANAUO5tjE7eN8
'God. What's next?', Alice asked her friends.
It was looking bad for all of them.
