Meanwhile…Alice keeps chasing the figure and the figure stopped on a dead end.
“I got you now,” Alice said as she walked to the figure closer.
The figures turn at her and finally reveal its true form.
“Don’t tell me…!” Alice was shocked at what she saw.
The figure revealed itself as a pale skinned boy with white hair and light blue colored outfit. Alice senses intimidating feeling from him and notices his blue eyes giving menacing look.
“(Something’s not right and I can tell from his eyes. He is not his usual self but I can’t explain what) Hmm….,” Alice approached the boy slowly.
“You found me. Ehehe, let’s play,” the boy giggled and starts to float.
Alice readies her Badik knife and the boy suddenly appears in front of her.
“How did he..?” Alice thought and swings her knife out of reflex.
The boy vanishes before the knife hit him and appears behind her.
“You’re it! Haha,” the boy touched her left hip which turns into small icicles and vanish.
“Aihh! Brr…..,” Alice screamed and wiped the icicles from her left hip.
As Alice readies herself to attack, the boy shifts into his spirit form and passes through her much to her shock of the unexpected attack.
“Uwah!” Alice screamed and turned frozen solid when the boy’s aura touched her as spirit.
“You are “it” now. Hehe,” the boy vanished after the giggle.
Martha and Vine turn their head at the screaming location.
“I just heard Alice’s scream. Something happened to her!” Vine said.
“Really? Show the way, quick!” Martha shouted.
Both of them leaves the elderly figure and run to the location of her scream. On the way, they notice a large ice figure ahead and stops in front of it.
“Oh no, Alice!” Vine immediately put his hand on the large ice containing her in it.
“Goodness…she’s frozen solid. Stand back, I will thaw her,” Martha said and casts her magic.
Martha generates flame on her hand and blow it on the ice. The flame quickly thaws Alice’s frozen figure as her unthawed fingers start to move. Martha stops and step away as Alice breaks herself free when there is only a small ice left.
“Gah, he got me this time. Brrr……that ice made me very cold. Ha…ha…haachiing!!” Alice said and sneezed from the cold.
“We can’t defeat Jack Frost at this rate. Is there anything that could hurt him? If Alice can’t touch him then we can’t face him unprepared unless there’s something we can use to touch him,” Martha said.
“What do you think we should do?” Vine asked and stood up after giving Alice her black jacket.
As everyone thinking about a solution, the elderly figure catches up to them.
“There you are, children. You can’t harm the boy at the state you are in,” the figure said.
Alice, Vine, and Martha turn at the figure and give him the suspicious look.
“I have been wondering about why you called Jack Frost “him”. Tell me, elder…could it be that you’re Father Frost?” Martha voiced her suspicion.
“Father Frost??” Alice and Vine shouted in disbelief.
The figure gives a long silence before finally nodding his head.
“You figured it out,” he said.
The figure releases the illusion and everyone sees him with long white ice-colored robe, his movement changes into slightly stiff in such form.
“I am Ded Moroz, also known as Father Frost. I…failed in giving the boy a lesson,” he said.
“Failed? I don’t think so,” Alice responded.
Martha steps forward.
“She’s right. You were probably being too harsh on Jack Frost,” she said.
“Don’t be sad, Father Frost. We will handle him for you,” Alice assured Father Frost.
Father Frost looks at them with a relieved look in his eyes.
“I can’t thank you enough for this. Let us go, I shall take you to the boy,” he said.
He slams his staff to the ground and everyone vanishes into the unknown.
Meanwhile…weather grows worse at every passing hour, Phoenix flies around in panic as Roy fell sick from the cold.
“Skree! The weather is getting worse! This is bad, the family will suffer death from cold if this continues,” Phoenix said.
“Phoenix…it’s so cold in here,” Roy said while shivering on the bed.
“Roy! Poor kid is shivering from cold and I sensed an intimidating spirit from afar. The children need my help. Forgive me for this!” Phoenix said as both of them vanishes into thin air.
