I stepped into the bedroom on the left, it had a small balcony with glass doors outlooking the ocean. This had to be my room. It was huge and perfect for all of my stuff. There were shelves above where my bed would go that was just enough room for all my books.
There was one thing in the room, it was covered in a white sheet. I pulled it off and underneath it was an old vanity. I looked at myself through the mirror. My long wavy blonde hair was a mess so I pulled it back with a hair tie I had on my wrist.
my blue eyes were brighter than normal, they looked aqua. I figured it was just the lighting. I took my coral sweater off and tied it around my waist and fixed my loose white tee shirt. I heard the movers downstairs and decided to check out the beach while they moved stuff in.
I hurried downstairs and dodged them moving the couch into the living room. “Did you decide what room you wanted?” Mom asked. “Oh yeah, the one with the little balcony and the vanity. I love it.” I said excitedly. “I knew you would,” she smiled.
”I’m going out to the beach so I’m out of their way,” I said. Mom frowned, “just don’t go near the water sweetie.”
What was wrong with the water?
