There is a moment, 842Please respect copyright.PENANATv7LUVtaEM
A split second, 842Please respect copyright.PENANAMDGX21oKXS
Between birth, 842Please respect copyright.PENANAMhKZrPH0JM
And death, 842Please respect copyright.PENANA66W5Rj2qBy
That is called life.
Everything you have ever done, 842Please respect copyright.PENANA5LkodhzWWV
Everyone you have ever loved, 842Please respect copyright.PENANA4RFdRXxNBs
Everything, 842Please respect copyright.PENANAaSsMuWmG0g
Occurred in that moment.
Whether it be, 842Please respect copyright.PENANA20m5EQRgxE
One year, 842Please respect copyright.PENANA4M8scy3gB1
Ten years, 842Please respect copyright.PENANAIY5rMFaGSH
Fifty years, 842Please respect copyright.PENANAMD22lZqVh6
Or a hundred,
It was only a moment. 842Please respect copyright.PENANAKcO1NOxymL
But though that may be, 842Please respect copyright.PENANAOcFRfdpA7W
The nature of mortality, 842Please respect copyright.PENANACog93vtbSI
There is more to life, 842Please respect copyright.PENANAAh1AEvMjf4
Than death.
And though that might seem empty, 842Please respect copyright.PENANACd3iGatqo0
Know that all life, 842Please respect copyright.PENANASJZhZYhJcn
Exists the same, 842Please respect copyright.PENANAuHnZHknjPM
Ends the same.
So live your life, 842Please respect copyright.PENANAsuj1jWxHKB
Because only you can live your moment.
The Nature of Mortality was inspired by that line in Interstellar (2014) where Matt Damon screams, "There is a moment-" and is imploded by incorrectly attaching an airlock. After all the jokes about the "genius astronaut who couldn't operate an airlock properly," I wrote the line on a piece of paper and stared at it for five minutes. And at the end of the five minutes, this happened. I hoped you liked it, despite the implications of it.
