Poetry by INKELLE
In a world that often celebrates the familiar, The Beauty of the Uncommonembraces the extraordinary. This anthology is a heartfelt collection of poetry that honors the misfits, the dreamers, the ones who walk a path only they can see. Each verse is woven with the raw essence of individuality—of standing apart, of daring to be different, of finding strength in the things that make us unique.
Through rhythm and rhyme, light and shadow, INKELLEpaints a portrait of self-discovery, reminding readers that true beauty lies not in blending in, but in standing out. Whether you have felt like an outcast or simply longed to embrace your own singularity, these poems will resonate like a whispered truth—one meant only for you.

I'm a gamer. It is my main hobby. I even get paid from time to time. I love playing mmorpg games, and I even have my own guild. However, not everyone can be as nice and look as good as in a video game.
Outside of video games, I am an ugly loser. Even if you want to argue I'm not ugly, you cannot argue I look good in the slightest. I have no meat on my bones, I'm short, timid, and shy. What is the worst, is the only compliment anyone can ever muster towards me is that I have pretty eyes. Which just in itself isn't a complement due to the mass amount of ridicule I endure because that is my only redeemable trait, and it is such a feminine one at that.
However, despite all of this, in video games, women approach me. it is extremely weird, but it is ok. Somewhat. I enjoy it, it makes me feel somewhat competent. However I of course reject them all.
"If you saw me irl, you would take back your words," and, "I don't even know your age or your gender, and even if you tell me, how could I trust you?"
Then, one fateful day in class, I had an encounter that would disrupt my life in both good and bad ways, all the bad ways being my fault.
"What's your name?" She asked, tilting her head while waving her hand.

Our nihilism blinds us to the glory
That we miss looking at what we should see
The world is filled with beautiful people
Absorb all that and just breathe.
