There are 6,492 living descendants in the line of succession to the throne of Queen Elizabeth II, and I was 6,492nd. Being dead last in line to rule the Commonwealth is something I occasionally joked about, until some bizarre events bumped me right to the top of the list.

Now I had to learn how to rule an entire commonwealth. And I hadn't the faintest idea where to start.
