- What's sad is that you're forced to learn this stuff in the first place. I haven't used rational functions or logs even once since high school. Unless you're going into a special career field that requires it, there's not much reason to learn it. It should be saved for college where you're pursuing a major that requires this knowledge. I dunno. That's just how I feel about it.
