Aris is accused of a crime he did not commit. The law of Sanscretia requires that he survive an ordeal to prove his innocence. Armed with linen clothes, simple leather armor, rope, a sword, and only enough provisions to last a night, help him survive the maze called Death's Cradle.This kind of an experiment. Basically, everyone must continue the story as left off from the previous entry with their own small entry of 50 to 300 words. Must include some form of conflict, whether introduced, continued, or completed within the entry. Can be inner conflict. More than one entry is accepted. Even though it's a community vote, don't vote for my starting entry. This is for everyone else.

You don't see very many contests that are judged by everyone, and yet here one is. Your entry cannot be longer than 1000 words, but no shorter than 100. Make it as random as possible. The more confusing the better. There must as least be a plotline to it. But make sure it's funny. Bad grammar and awful spelling does not count as playfully confusing or funny.

What do you fear the most? What is it that shapes the way you live your life? You can write a sentence or a several thousand word story. I want to see your emotion come through. This is more about your emotional fear than a material one, unless you fear something because of an emotional reason. Then that works as well. You don't necessarily have to write about your own fears, either. Also, you can write more than one entry, but keep your entry numbers within reason.

Also, no cussing. If you feel that your story needs it, please censor it. Profanity makes a story less appealing for me.

This is probably the simplest contest ever. Just write about the stupidest thing you've done in your life. This will test how good you are at humour (not that I'm a king at that). But mind you, what you write must be real and not imagined. Preference will be given to humour and risk. Well, go on now!

I'll set a limit of 4000 words maximum because it isa short stories contest. Feel free to go over by a paragraph or two. You can,however, write something as short as a sentence since there's no minimum word limit.

Let's see who can make the best hero and how do we do that you may ask. well what a great hero needs is his name, secret identity, power(s)/abilitie(s), and most importantly his/her origin. Let's see who can make the most liked.

You will choose a partner and together you both have to come up with a two issue story. One person does the first issue and the other has to do the second issue. Here's the kick. The first person can't tell any detail to the second person until they are done and cannot assist in the making of the second part. 

Come up with the most insulting insults of all insult history! It doesn't matter who or what is your source, just say it to make one laugh. And by all means, let your imagination run wild.

These stories must be sad. I want you to make me cry. They dont have to be long but they just have to be  heart-wrenching.
