Write a forest survival story.

Rules:

1. Make it realistic (no venomous biting unicorns everyone!!).

2. Give me a backstory. Why is your character in the forest? Is it like the Hunger Games, part of law/tradition? Is it like Hatchet?

3. Don't make it easy for your character to survive. That will make the story boring. Plot twists, near death, I love drama!

4. Details, details, details! I love a good story that tells me how many feathers is on the bird they hunted. (Just kidding, not that detailed!)

5. Have fun. Don't push yourself too hard. Enjoy this contest!

For this contest, write a story from the perspective of a dog. ANYTHING is allowed, like doggy romance, crime, a simple day in the life, ANYTHING.

The prompt is really broad because I want you to use your imagination!! Enjoy  this contest.

The prompt for this contest is that there is a villain (it can be ANY kind of villain. criminal, evil witch/wizard, etc.) who turns out to be good in the end. Feel free to put your own twist!! If there are any vulgar topics (gore, swearing, violence, kissing, etc.) please put a TW at the start of the story.

~Don't overdo it fellow writers. Take breaks. Its a two week long contest, you have plenty of time.~

Create a story that ends with the line, "I trusted you."
