they're kind of like Nekos, but not cat features, and have animal features. they each rule one thing, ex: gravity, fruit, gems, ice, time, space, etc...

they do not have to be animalistic, they do have to have a feature of something else; a gemlike person, a tree-man, etc...

they have to be humanoid.

This is a 1-3 sentence writing.

I need the first sentence to a story. the story is so:

the universe is a world in which there are three sentient, humanoid races- Daemons, Fiends, and Humans. The main character, a fiend named Xavier, hatched (yes, they come from eggs) near a human citadel. Fiend eggs are lain similarly to a fly, in rotting food.

He grows up in the citadel he was born near, and everyone fears him except the tavern keeper, Tuck. He becomes Xavier's father, and teaches him of his vocation.

other things happen , like the Daemons trying to kill Xavier etc... but that's not important for the first 3 sentences. GO!~

Time to bring out the roses, the chocolates, the stutters...

Your prompt is thus:

"Write a love story with an unexpected ending."

Use those gifts I have witnessed, make your reader laugh or cry - to end with a gasp. A simple prompt for a not-so-simple emotion.

Put one single sentence that is so full of raw emotion it could make me cry.

Your walking home one cold winters day when you see a young boy-maybe 13 or 14 years old- standing on the side of a bridge, looking as if he was about to jump.
