Hello writers!

I am Alice and after the success of the first writing contest that I hosted here on Penana, I'm back for contest number two! This time, I will be sharing a picture here, which is your writing prompt. Your task is to use what you see in the picture and write a short story. It can be any genre, reading age that you like but would be handy if any trigger warnings were mentioned somewhere in your entry.

Without further ado, here is the prompt for the challenge!:

RULES:

- Your entry must be between 500-3000 words long, not shorter, not longer

- Entries must be written in English

- Please state the total word count of your entry somewhere in your entry

- Spelling, Grammar will be judged. I am the judge for this challenge and decisions are final

I'm back with another interesting contest. I hope you like it.

Write about a character who happens to be a god living in the mortal world. The catch? The character is practically powerless, as nobody worships him/her anymore. Double catch? Suddenly one day, he/she feels that someone is praying him/her for their protection.

-No word limit! But, make sure you don't exceed a 30 minute read.

-The god/goddess can possess whatever power. All up to you.

-You can be the forgotten deity. This means that you can written it in any speech way!

-Any genre! Horror! Humorous! Action! Mystery! Abso*effing*lutely anything!

The whole story would revolve around two young lovers in their 14- 17 years of age. Of course, with that kind of age limit in detailed sex or just plain sex is prohibited. Having a spice of innocence, adventure, and self discovery is a major plus point.

The rest of the plot is all up to your imagination and fun.

The story must not exceed a 30 min read.

You may want something funny/ comedic, dark and sad, dramatic whatever it is.

Maybe the omen is for dark times ahead or one of hope, this literary tool of the occult and Shakespeare is unpredictable as it is untrustworthy. Good luck everyone.

Sooo, in honor of the upcoming Valentine's Day, I would like to start with a romantic out-of-this world adventure! LITERALLY! Set the scene!

Were you an astronaut that got stranded on a strange planet? Were your parents apart of an earth relocation expedition to inhabit a new planet and you were BORN on a different planet? Are you part of a dystopian world? What about the alien you fall in love with? Is he a prince? Is she a queen? Do you have a forbidden romance or are you betrothed? What's your story?!

The only requirement:

1.Someone falls in love with an alien at some point in the story.

2. Have fun on whatever made-up planet or adventure you come up with!

PS Let's try to keep it PG-13 for our younger writers, Please!
