Hey guys, This is a story I partially wrote as a kid when I was borderline illiterate. I always had the ideas and creativity to write, but I didn't have the skills. My friends have helped me come along way but I still have a lot to learn. I love feedback even if it points out weaknesses.
also just a note, the names of the characters may seem ridiculous, but let me explain. This story is inspired by many real life events however unrealistic it may seem. the setting and what not are totally false, but many of the characters are real people and a lot of the conversations, personal struggles, and fights, actually occurred.
Its a war story that takes place shortly after WW2, North America was almost wiped out in a coordinated mass attack that no one saw coming. The attack was defeated, just barely, and USA and Canada were forced to reissue conscription, but since there were so many losses. The minimum age was reduced to the point were 13 year old kids are on the front lines. Nothing big was expected of these kids, however, this story follows a group of kids that not only proved themselves, but gave the Allied forces a fighting chance.
this story has a lot of sarcasm and humor in it, but it is in general a very serious and develops into a dark, sad story. All thoughts are welcome :)
