100 - 4500 Words

You have the chance as the All Creator to make Your own pantheon and universe.

What manner of Gods/Goddess do You create--or are You the lone creator in your universe? What world(s) do You or Your Children make? What people do They rule/make? Are Your deities worshipped, or have They fallen out of favor? Are there demi-gods, or do your progeny refrain from interacting with mortals? Is there magic in Your universe? What sort of powers do Your Divines possess? You can outline things or tell a Creation Story - It's all up to you! Let your imagination run wild!

Brevity is ideal, but if you need to go for a larger word count in order to illustrate the depth of your tale, I'm not your mama--Go crazy!

I meet a little girl with red dress. She's smile to me and step by step walk closer to me. And I'm so surprising, when she show me a knife with fresh blood.

100 - 1500 words

Create a short story or poem about a carefully (or haphazardly) laid plan that goes sideways! Consider the consequences of your protagonist (or antagonist) failing/succeeding to improvise after their plot has gone wrong. Is the fate of the world at stake? Do they have a backup plan? Will their reaction be enough to save/rue the day? Inject the situation with irony and humor--or keep things dire and grave--It's all up to you!

Brevity is ideal, but if you need more than one issue to convey the depth of your tale, you are welcome to enter up to two additional times--That gives you up to 4500 words to craft with! However, any more than that and I may not have time to read it...

I am Alice and after the success of the first writing contest that I hosted here on Penana, I'm back for contest number two! This time, I will be sharing a picture here, which is your writing prompt. Your task is to use what you see in the picture and write a short story. It can be any genre, reading age that you like but would be handy if any trigger warnings were mentioned somewhere in your entry.

Without further ado, here is the prompt for the challenge!:

RULES:

- Your entry must be between 500-3000 words long, not shorter, not longer

- Entries must be written in English

- Please state the total word count of your entry somewhere in your entry

- Spelling, Grammar will be judged. I am the judge for this challenge and decisions are final

- OPTIONAL BUT MUCH APPRECIATED: It would be lovely if you could follow me here on Penana, to show your support for future writing contests I plan to host in due course.

You have exactly one month from now until entries will close. Submissions after that time won't be accepted. Only one entry per user.
