1- the pink one: when you touch it, it’s soft and smells like fairy floss, but it’s handle is sizzling hot.

2- the green one: there’s the initials K.N on it, and from behind the door, you hear the sound of a piano.

3- the golden one: this one has a bell for you to ring but no handle.

4- the red one.

You have four equipments:

1-ear plugs

2-gloves

3-hammer

4- an ancient book

What you choose to do and where you choose to go is up to you. Your fate is in your hands.

It’s October, time for some horror stories. Although, as the title shows, this is not just any normal horror story contest. This contest has a twist. I want you to take something happy and innocent and twist it into something dark and nightmarish. Whichever story is the most twisted from innocent to corrupt wins. Good luck! I can’t wait to see what y’all come up with!

Write a piece of writing that is inspired by the following:

'You awake not remembering anything with a person who says that they are your lover and have been for a few years now. Whilst you start to develop romantic feelings for the person who claims to be your lover, you cannot remember anything not even the person who claims to be your lover never mind weather they are your lover or not.'

Note: You can also do this contest in second-person or third-person points of view.

Weather you choose first-person or second-person or third person point of view is up to you.

The judging of this contest has been set to like count and will last twelve weeks from Friday 23rd August 2019.

Every story needs a good opening line or paragraph to begin with. For example some of my favourites include:

All of these are great books that I highly recommend.

But now its your turn.

Make up a fake title for a book then write the opening first line or paragraph.

Some Rules:

Nothing too excessive, the rating is PG.Characters from other books/movies can be used. But keep them in character please!Two entries per person.If you choose to write a paragraph rather than a sentence, please keep it within two.

Sounds easy? Hopefully it should be.

This is probably the simplest contest ever. Just write about the stupidest thing you've done in your life. This will test how good you are at humour (not that I'm a king at that). But mind you, what you write must be real and not imagined. Preference will be given to humour and risk. Well, go on now!

Write a quote that represents yourself as a writer or reader now. The great part of doing this is that your quote may change when you revisit it as you become a more experienced writer!

Writer's block is something we all dislike. It makes even something you really like hard to write. 

It's hard to write sometimes and you just feel stuck.

So here I'm going to give you ten random first lines to help you with that.

1. He opened the door to find her standing there, crying.

2. The text message simply said 'very clever'

3. That summer seemed to last forever.

4. She looked around quickly, to see if everything had been stolen.

5. "What happened when you woke up?"

6. He watched, helpless, as she slammed the door shut on his face.

7. "Where are you taking me?"

8. No one had ever told her that her mom has a twin.

9. It was the trip of a lifetime, yet something wasn't right.

10. They say everyone who looks into their family history will find a secret sooner or later.

It can be anything you want! It can be a cheesy romance, a half-comedy half-horror... Who knows what you have in mind.
