Kind of odd to be thinking something like that in the middle of winter, right?

Anyhoo, imagine your character is walking through a dessert, what is the character's purpose to walk in a dessert? Destiny calling to her/him or something else?

What will they find, what will happen while walking, riding, flying or whatever your minds calls out for to this scene.

The title says it all... Tell us a story in one (ok, maybe two) sentences, without it being a runoff sentence. A story of passion, heartbreak, a pet... Anything you want!
