Once upon a time, there was a called an almost surreal place Angel Town
There is something so bizarre, something so indescribable about when you see the dazzling image of a silhouette slowly morph into the beautiful being that you thought only existed within the realm of your dreams. Every single inch of your body is suddenly captivated by them and your eyes suddenly come alive. You eagerly await every single moment beside them hoping that one of those moments will be marked by one where they confess their love. Words that you cannot say on your own in fear that everything you feel for them is not reciprocated.
Constant thoughts that are embedded deep within the mind of Pendant as she eagerly traces the every action of Miçanga someone who could never leave her mind. They sit next to each other every single moment of the day their steps were perfectly paced to sync up with each other. There had even been points when their hands would intertwine for a few moments, yet Miçanga would never consider her to be anything more than a very close friend. Someone to hold in times of need and between the cracks of shattered relationships.
Pendant was dead set on the idea that that was how Miçanga felt about her even if she has no way of confirming such suspicions. At times she wanted those suspicions to be true after all she led a life that guaranteed that she would eventually endanger the ones that she held nearest to her. There was something deeply vexing and tragic about it.
There was one in Angel Town who greatly threatened the balance and the joy that Pendant had found within her utopia or so she called it many times. A man by the name of Rotor, sure he was not a treacherous man nor a man of any ill intent but to someone notorious for a secret life, his honesty and skeptical behavior stood as a stubborn obstacle. At every twist and turn there was one who created a chasm at the point where Pendant and Miçanga were so faithfully intertwined with passion. Surely with a man as such who closely investigated the peculiar anomalies which swept Angel Town.
Have no fear though, do you really believe that Pendant would simply let the only one in her life who she truly loved away from the cage of her eyesight. She began to formulate a thorough plan which accommodated nearly every possible outcome she could think of. She vowed from the depth of her soul, wherever that was located that she would surrender Miçanga for nothing in this world. Not even when under the weight of her numerous crimes.
Rotor was a simple man, a mechanic who had always had a particular talent for fixing and renovating things on both a biological and technical level. Yet so clueless to the fate that was soon about unravel before his unsuspecting eyes. Ever so slowly with passion burning within her heart she creeps behind him setting every piece of her plan into place like the intricate puzzle it was.
As to be expected she was ever so partial towards the use of minor explosives coupled with elaborate chain reactions to send a screwdriver to knock out the mechanic and hopefully give him amnesia. An ending that would almost be poetic, she would even shower the scene with rose petals if she could. The only mind that was aware of all her secrets to at last be destroyed and thought of no more or perhaps shake fear within a community of ignorant sheep. No the second one was not her intent but a necessary consequence for those who might attempt to violate a sacred relationship again.
Rotor squats into his place as he picks up a pair of shiny pliers beginning the chain reaction. Pendant eagerly watched from afar waiting for the moment this would all be over and she could finally go back to sniffing her Miçanga scented photos of Miçanga. She traces her eyes around the mechanic shop following the screwdriver that would soon liberate her from her past, the thought almost making her drool. How almost disturbingly desperate.
Moments fly until it is time for the screwdriver to do the same and with a mechanical bow it flings through the air silently with Rotor as its only target within sight. It gets closer and closer until finally it stops. She expects to see Rotor keel over looking almost completely lifeless but the moment never comes. Rotor turns around and the screwdriver had not even penetrated the skin of his forehead, with inhumane reflexes he had caught the screwdriver as before he felt it on his skin. Even after an attack as such Rotor still smiled as he spoke. "Pendant? Would you be the one responsible for this?" How did he even know she was there?
With a great shame unconcealed herself from the shadows bracing anything that was to come. Just then she faintly heard the sound of a police siren echoing in the distance. Something she grew far too familiar with when she accompanied the mafia during her old life which she desperately ran from. Rotor held between his fingers a picture of her alongside the greatest mafia boss who disappeared just around the time Pendant was adopted into Angel Town. Yes they were coming to take her to the place where she would confront the past she desperately avoided and be permanently separated from Miçanga. Such a tragic end.
Or so you thought everything had met a tragic end until you hear about how Miçanga also was revealed from the pits of the shadow. Pendant stood there in her fear and shame when suddenly she felt the familiar warmth and hand shape of the only person she ever truly loved wrap around her trembling hand covered in cold sweat. "Pendant, I don't care about who you are I love you more than anything, if you're going to leave this town I'll follow you. If you're going to let them take you to jail I'll kill Rotor and plead guilty so we go together." Pendant's entire body trembled with joy and tear began to burst through the duct of her eyes as she couldn't contain her joy at those words. Eagerly Miçanga the one who Pendant had spent so long admiring willingly became fully intertwined with her. Within this embrace their lips collided marking the untamable passion that they shared for each other. They had unlocked an intimacy Pendant thought she could never achieve, her deepest fantasy had become a reality.
Rotor watched all of this (or at least he tried his hardest to avert his eyes) deeply disturbed and fearing for his life as now he was in an extremely vulnerable state too vulnerable to take on the insanity that would unfold. Rotor was safe from harm however as Pendant chose the better option of simply running away with Miçanga. He did decide to call off the cops just in case (which you can do very easily in Angel Town) . No one knows where they are right now and knowing their history you would probably live a better life if you didn't. So for now, that is the end of the story of Pendant and Miçanga but of course the insane mishaps of Angel Town continues to this day.
