Ras kicked his feet in the air as he laid back on the a rock behind him spectating the ensuing battle before him.
''Most people that fought my vestige would normally keep resorting to their weapons and innate abilities to overcome him but you are a strange one........simply reinforcing your armour with your energy and going for a physical battle even after seeing how it can easily regenerate after being damaged. Haha honestly what an interesting fellow you are....'' Ras thought as he continued to watch as the battle had began to reach its tipping point.
Lena dashed almost instantly before the shadow with her right hand clenched into a fist with her energy coursing around it as she quickly swung towards the shadowy figure, in response the shadow knight swung its dark blade towards Lena's initiating punch but before the blade could land on her fist she responded with a slide below the figures feet and countered with kick to the shadows head instead which seemed to stun it for a second. Lena not giving the creature even a moment to recuperate followed up with a flurry of strikes all individually aimed around different parts of its upper body.
''Oh my that's an impressive display but measly punches like those won't leave any long lasting damage as I hope your aware.'' taunted Ras towards the valiant knight as she continued attacking with her strikes on the shadow almost relentlessly, her eyes seemed completely focused on her enemy as if she didn't even acknowledged anything else around her, with her breathing becoming steady and calm along with her heart beating steadily and her body almost flowing in sync with each punch almost as if her body were moving automatically.
''More!....More!....More.....More!......If I'm gonna be able to take this thing down I'm gonna have to keep attacking and attacking and attacking until it's got nothing to come back from!!!!'' Lena thought through her mind as her assault continued.
Ras shook his head at the display ''Well this fight is over she'll just exhaust herself while he will simply regenerate and counterattack as a response to this strategy....end it already my partner.'' he said getting up from the ground as he began to turn back and walk away only to still hear the sounds of the strikes continuing to land with the sound of the impact growing more and more.
''Huh? What's going on?'' said Ras with confusion in his voice as he watched the shadowy figure begin to convulse and break apart bit by bit with each strike from Lena.
''Why isn't he counterattacking or dodging, I understand getting caught of guard but he should have adapted to at least counterattack.....wait are those?! thought Ras as he spotted the gold coloured chains that currently wrapped around his shadow's feet and arms restraining it's movements ''When did that happen? Wait ahh now I see it must have been an effect of her attack with the spear, it must have had some form of enchantment which had a delayed effect until the user chooses to activate it immediately. Now the resorting to a physical fight makes sense she needed to reserve energy for its activation after the first exchange and now that its taken effect she plans to continuously strike my shadow with her energy until it breaks down due the massive influx of energies being poured into it with her fists........haha she's crazy.'' Ras concluded in thought with a smile as he watched the brutal onslaught continue.
