Two figures could be seen battling amongst the corners within a castle, both of differing builds but that did not deter the pace of the fight.
''You need to focus more on countering your opponents attacks than simply trying to dodge them.'' stated the larger figure as it grabbed a punch thrown by the other smaller figure whom immediately tried to follow the attack with a spear she materialised in her other hand but the larger figure pulled her arm forward and launched her into the wall behind him.
The girl hit the wall hard as she fell to her knees, her head felt shaky and her arms felt heavy as her eyes felt glued to the floor. The other figure walked toward her a large armoured man who wore a large red cape behind him.
''Seek reprieve only after you know your opponent is defeated!'' he said as manifested a large bow that glowed yellow with the ting of his energy as the three arrows formed on its bowstring, each made from pure energy as they glowed red on their tips. The man readied himself to fire the arrows at the girl whom was still on her knees from the earlier throw.
It would seem that this is her limit, I'll give her a moment to give up before this gets too far though I will reduce the power of the arrows and finish this fight without things getting too serious thought the man as he delayed his attack for but a moment.
The girl looked up at the man as she slowly rose up staring down at the man as he stood with his arrows ready to be shot, energy surged around him which gave off an almost towering feeling from him. The girl getting the wits about her the best she could mustered her energy into her fists as she shrouded them in energy.
''Oh now what do you plan to do I wonder?'' said the man as he watched her take a stance with her fists ready in front of herself. But before he could say another word the girl quickly dashed towards him, in response the man fired all three of the arrows which zoomed through the air towards the girl at break neck speeds each at a different angle but all with one target.
The girl leaped into the air as she dodged the first two arrows narrowly before grabbing the last arrow which almost struck her shoulder as she channelled her energy into it before flinging it towards her opponent. The newly flung arrow swirled with her energy as it grew in size almost like a large missile at it sored towards the man.
The man smiled looking at the massive projectile before.
'' Not a bad, using your opponents attacks as means for your own is always a solid strategy.'' he said before blocking the attack with his arm as smoke and dust rose around the area after the attack hit. The cloud obscured the man's vision as he stared in the direction that the girl was attacking from as he waited for a surprise attack from her.
His eye darted behind him as the girl appeared out of the smoke with a strike ready.
''That was far too predictable.'' taunted the man as he went for a grab on her arm again for another counter but found that he couldn't move his arm properly forward. He quickly surveyed his body to see the faint threads of energy that had now bound around his body into the ground.
His movement impeded if only for a second left the man completely open for the ferocious strike from the girl one to which he simply looked at her eyes which beamed with determination.
''Not bad kid...'' he said with smile on his face as it he was quickly jolted by the fist that found its way on his cheek, the girl with all her strength pushed forward with her punch as the force sent the man flying into a wall close to one of the castles balconies causing large debris to fall on top of him from the impact.
The girl stood gasping for air with arms on her side.
''Finally got you....Sir Gillford.'' she said sitting on the ground exhausted. The man quickly rose from the rubble surrounding him as he ran towards the girl inspecting her injuries before wrapping her bruises with some bandages he had kept on his person.
''While your valour is admirable Lena, I do hope you keep your wellbeing paramount during your battles ahead. You can't keep up the good fight when your dead I always say hahahaha.'' said Gilford laughing as he carried her into the castles infirmary.
''You don't have to carry me Sir I can walk just fine on my own..'' Lena said quietly with her face turned away flushed red with embarrassment.
Lena strained her eyes as she slowly opened them, a flame met her vision as a bon fire was before, slowly raising her head she looked around her as she found herself on a stone bed.
''Where the hell am I?'' she said looking around as her eyes soon locked on a man sitting near the flame who was heating some meat on a stick, Lena rubbed her eyes as her vision was a bit blurry.
''Yo you're awake want some grub, we managed to hunt some stuff around here lucky us huh'' said Ras as extended some of the meat to here with a goofy grin on his face. To which Lena returned with a confused look on hers.
''Your kidding me right?'' she said bewildered by what she was seeing.
