Sweat ran down Lena's face as she increased the intensity of her strikes even more so, her breathing became heavier and her vision became blurry as her body was beginning to feel the toll of the battle. Her energy quickly expending as she continued to pour more of it through her fists into the shadow which continued to shake and crumble almost like it was made of dirt from the massive attacks befalling it.
It's red eyes which looked to spiral around it's socket then focused on Lena as if it waited patiently for her to tire out eventually with it's sword still in hand almost ready for the chains that bound it disappear before it would swing with a slash that would have ended the fight. Lena coughed out blood as her strikes began to lessen in frequency and their weight in power dwindled significantly than before, her stance began to crumble as her body began to give out and her flurry of attacks soon stopped as she fell to one knee as she began gasping for air with her left hand on the floor stopping her from collapsing the other was on her chest as she tried to catch her breath. The shadow knight stood frozen as it's body crumbling from the previous onslaught now began to reconstruct itself and it's movement were also being restored as the chains that bound it began to weaken and fade. It's blade slowly raised by it's cracked arm above its foe as it's eyes stared down with a jagged smile forming on it's face.
''Too...bad....you...were.....so....close....but....It's....my.....win!'' It spoke in a almost jagged machine-like voice as it's blade fell towards Lena's head, ''You didn't do too bad kid it was a great ride while it lasted'' said Ras as he watched with a slight frown on his face at the impending blow.
But before the blade could find it's mark on Lena's head, with all the energy she had left Lena narrowly dodged the blade twisting her body in order to avoid it, with the blade only slashing her left shoulder instead as she rose in front of the shadow with her right hand glowing with the remaining energy she had left to strike the blade from the shadow's hand and grabbed it as the energy from her hand began to seep into the weapon and swinging with all her strength remaining slashed at the shadow's exposed chest area which resulted into a large shockwave occurring between the two displaying the level of force behind the swing which pushed the two fighters backwards crashing into the rocks behind them.
Ras's watched in bewilderment at what just unfolded before his eyes as Lena began to slowly rise from the pile of rubble around her holding her shoulder which bleed profusely as she looked towards where the shadow crashed, of which it too crawled out of the earth around it. A large gash which now glowed gold was visible in its chest area as it's body began to crumble and fall apart it's eyes locked onto Lena almost dead pan it's smile still ran through its cracking face as it's armour broke apart quickly ''Not.....bad....for...a...runt...I guess.'' it said as it completely crumbled and broke apart into nothingness.
Lena with a sigh of relief tried to stand up straight but lost her footing and began to fall backwards as she was blacking out but before she could fall, Ras quickly grabbed her by the side and laid her down gently on the ground. He looked at the young girl who was now unconscious as she began breathing softly with a clam expression on her face.
''You really are full of surprises huh, kid.'' said Ras with a grin on his face.
