"Morning Dog" I say, patting him on the back. I felt he was by far my best friend and deserved a good morning greeting. I then tell him about my plans for the day, "Well bud, I've got a couple of tasks for the day. First, I am doing a quick check in with my doctor. Then, I am having lunch with my wife. Then, I have a meeting about a volunteer job. Last, I have some bills to pay. It doesn't sound like a lot, but you know I can't handle too much." He shows me how much he understands with just a smile and a huff. This simple act does a lot to make me feel better about the day. "Ok dude, I'm leaving. Try to enjoy yourself." I tell him as I leave to accomplish my tasks. After the grueling day, I rush though the door into a hug with my bestie. "Dog, it was a crazy day. Ok, so first. My Doctor told me that my sugar and blood pressure was high, then told me what it should be, and that is it. He Didn't tell me how to change it. Then, the lunch with my wife was awesome. That helped to calm my ragging heart. She may not be as soothing as you sometimes, but it was still nice today. Then, I fought with the leader of the volunteer job. He seemed to keep forgetting that I am handicapped, and there is much I can't do. Then, I went to the bank already angry. I spent a fortune to pay my bills, which did nothing but make me angrier. So, furious, I rushed to you." I proceeded to explain to him. He then proceeds to hug me trying to make me feel better. I am then given a very awkward kiss. "Dude, you can't kiss another man." I tell him with a smile on my face. This is returned with him sticking out his tongue at me. I rub his head, scratching behind his ears and calling him a good boy. I hug him tightly as I tell him "Bud, I needed this. Thank you so much for being my untrained therapy dog." I then, give him a pat and finish it with a treat. Dog truly is man's best friend, I thought.620Please respect copyright.PENANA0bKjoM5RQR

He truly is my furry blessing. He is a slobbery angel. I say this because this story was influenced by my wonderfully good boy.
