I needed peace,

Peace that you took away,

The sad lonely nights,

They were tearing me apart.

I tried to be strong,

But everyone has their weaknesses.

My cries became your energy,

You made me a living misery,

You removed my sanity,

Replaced it with deep agony,

So I turned to a friend for help,

A joint each day,

To take the pain away,

But I craved it more,

Each passing second of the day,

I didn't care any longer,

Nobody cared,

You only cared,

You made me smile,

But when you wore off,

The boats of sorrows were back.

Oh dear cannabis,

You are my death,

I do need death,

But I've learned to live again.
